Analysis: 42% W/V - Nitrogen (420gms/litre)

42N is a liquid blend of urea and ammonium nitrate.

Nitrogen is a macronutrient essential for normal plant growth, in fact it is the nutrient in greatest demand.  Nitrogen is necessary for plants to produce chlorophyll and is the major component of proteins.

Deficiency Sysptoms
Is most obviously seen as a pale green or yellow colour, particulary of the older leaves of the plant.

Low organic matter and high carbon residue added to the soil will make the condition worse.

Advantages:
* Compared to soil applied Nitrogen, on a kilo per kilo basis, foliar applied Nitrogen can be up to 7 times more efficient.
* When foliar applying Nitrogen to crops, the lower the rate of water applied will improve results, however, crops under any moisture stress, or under high temperatures or windy situations will be open to potential fertilizers (salt) burn.  Use lower rates of water at your own discretion.
